REGULATIONS

The CLUB LOMBARDIA TEAM A.S.D. society organizes on Sunday 15 June 2008 the first edition of the “GRAN FONDO MTB ALTA VALTELLINA” with two different race courses. The longest is 48 km long (height difference of 1930 m) and the shortest is 28 km long (height difference of 950 m). The start and the finish are in the centre of Bormio (SO).

PARTICIPATION
The event is open for all holding a membership card F.C.I. and for the Council’s body, including foreigners, with an age between 18 and 65 year old, and the amateur bikers provided they are in possession of a medical certificate of good health.

DIVISION OF THE TWO RUNS
The division of the two race courses occurs after 24 km near the Pentagono area in Bormio where it will be possible to decide among the long or short course. It is not necessary to specify at the entry the run you want to compete.

The dead line for the submission is by Thursday 12 June at 20:00.
You must send by fax (+39 0342/901654) the copy of the entry form, the copy of the transfer and the copy of the card. The amateur bikers must also send the copy of the medical certificate.
The price for the entry is Euro 20.00 until the 31 May and Euro 25,00 over this date. The price includes the race package, refreshments, showers, pasta party, sanitary assistance, mechanical assistance at the start and bike washing.
One free entry is given for each group of 5 from the same society.

We will verify the card and we will deliver the packet competition near the primary Pentagono of Bormio in street A.Manzoni

SUPPORT SERVICE AND POST COMPETITION SERVICE
Parking, bar, sanitary assistance, mechanical assistance at the start, n. 3 refreshments on the run, finish refreshment, pasta party, showers, bike washing, timing by Champion Chip system, photographer, television’s shot and expo bike.

RESULTS
At the end of the competition the results will drip and they will publish by the Champion Chip.

CRASH HELMET
If you want take part at the competition you must wear and you must lace in a right way the crash helmet.

PRIZEGIVING
The prizegiving will develop at 15:00 near the building Pentagono-Bormio sreet A. Manzoni. We will award to the first 5 winners for each category for run, and the 3 team more large.

RESPONSIBILITY AND INSURANCE
The organisation do not assume responsibility for possible accidents at the participants and a third party damages, for personal objects or for bike steal first, during and after the sport event.
The organisation reserve the right to modify the present regulations in any moment.
